The Fall in Review

We were so busy with life and bag-making, it seems as if autumn slipped by without notice. Here's a couple of pics to keep you updated.

I usually have a collection of white lattice plates on our wall by the kitchen table. For Thanksgiving I replaced the middle one with my great-grandmother's platter that she served MANY, MANY Sunday dinners on. Under that is a tile that Miranda made at school with her hand print. I thought it was a great idea for them to use a tile instead of paper. We can display it for many years to come.

Thanksgiving was just the four of us this year. Here is Miranda doing her part of the meal prep. She was so excited to use a REAL knife. Aren't you all jealous of my delicious cranberry recipe?!?

This picture might tell a bit too much about the Darwins.... Who needs a tablecloth (or shirt, for that matter) to enjoy a lovely Thanksgiving meal?

***Note to self: Dress the children for holiday meals.***

After living in West Texas and Tucson for almost 9 years, it has been such a treat to live here where there are truly 4 seasons. The kids seem to embrace the changes as well.

We tried to get a few shots at the beach for our Christmas photos.....you won't being seeing any of them on any cards from me! These two were the BEST, most of them had Sam looking at the ground or throwing a fit.....There's still time....
